TLS,

Title is pretty self explanatory - I have a 3.8 and 160 LSAT score. I need to go somewhere that I can get near full tuition or at least 75% at. Im very aware these stats will not get me this kind of money at any highly ranked school, but my goal is to earn a JD not go to as highly ranked of a school as possible.

Please give me some suggestions. I don't want to live in the middle of nowhere.

EDIT: Putting school off for another year is not an option.

Thanks.

I assume you want to earn that JD to become a lawyer. What kind of career do you want?

Well, where do you want to live?

Why not?

Did you spend at least 500 hours studying for the LSAT?

Has your wife/mother/child been kidnapped by an international terrorist group demanding you go to law school in order to free them?

No?

Then putting off school for another year is an option. You need to study more retake.

If you just want random schools to apply to, try law school numbers.

If you want advice, you need to give more information.

FYI, I would check out some top regional schools. Think about where you want to practice after graduation and look at the top schools there. Personally, I know someone who got offered a huge scholarship to UMKC law with similar stats to yours and she loves it. I know it seems on forums like this that you should only be applying to T14 schools, but I disagree with that and would advise looking at top regional options with $$$ to give away.
