Does graduating 1st in your undergrad class (awarded medal at convocation) add to your application or do they only look at GPA? Someone told me once you break 4.00 anything beyond is a waste of time, is this true or false?

List it as an honor in your application, but it's not going to increase your LSAC reported GPA.
