Trying to get into dream school. Would promising to pay them extra (like tuition is 55k I would offer 80k) helpgrt me in?

Yes. I did this with a T14. I also told them I would do a JD-MBA... so an extra year at the higher tuition... and I got in just fine

I emailed the director of admissions at my top school and told them I would attend if I got in and received merit aid. i got in with scholarship the next day and attended, not flame. good luck!

Does this work for BigLaw SAs too? I have been working on some V80s ever since I didn’t get a cb last August but I might reach out and ask if I can pay $3.5k a week to work there this summer. Will update!
