You got a 172 on December, so you're not getting ghosted, you were just less valuable when you applied with that 168/superior. With the updated scores, assuming you haven't gotten any waitlists to this point, you could see movement soon. Keep in mind that T13 admissions are managing literally thousands of applications. You weren't an auto-admit with your previous score, and it might take awhile coming out of the holiday season before your improved application is reviewed again. If you want renewed consideration, draft a LOCI for the schools you're most concerned about and see if it brings your application back to the top of the pile.

It is also worth noting that schools seem to be moving more slowly this cycle across the board than in previous years due to the larger applicant pool.
