Top Law Schools

I am wondering usually how long does it take from:
1) application received - application complete
2) application complete - application under review?

I had applied to Emory and BC so far and my status remained at application complete for more than 3 weeks. Is it normal? Should I contact the law school?

If you submitted over the winter break it's normal for it to take some time. As far as updates from the school, it varies for BC—some applicants get notified that they are UR some don't but you can always look at the status checker. Emory doesn't update and will let you know of the decision when they make it.

I received email from Emory saying that they have received my application and would send me another email if my application was complete. But I never heard back from them since.

Is there any reason for you to believe it might not be complete? If there isn't, then relax, sit back, and enjoy the ride.

I think so. I have a updated transcript that I sent three weeks ago. But I heard no response.
