Addendum for Summer Course "F"

Post by super12345chess » Thu Dec 28, 2017 6:37 pm

I'm wondering whether I should include an addendum to explain an "F" I received for a class I registered for over the summer at a community college but did not complete or withdraw from. It brings my GPA down somewhat (although I'm still above all schools' medians).

My general rule is only write an addendum if there’s actually a legitimate excuse, e.g., undiagnosed medical condition, family death, etc. Otherwise you’re just drawing attention to it in way that ducks responsibility. Some may disagree, but I think taking responsibility means you just own it.
