Email Address When Applying to Law Schools?

Is it unprofessional to use my undergraduate email address to apply to law schools and conduct communication between admission officers? My email isn't something obscure like "name"
4343@school.edu. The email is practically just my name.
Should I just create a new gmail specifically for law school purposes?

You should create a "your name" gmail because you're going to need it in the future anyway, might as well start now.

An admissions person I spoke to recommended making a bland your
name@gmail.com so that you wont run the risk of losing your .edu when you graduate. She also said that they receive a surprising amount of emails from people with emails like sk8rboi6969@yahoo. com and
N00bPwner2000@gmail.com which I found amusing.

Just don't make a hotmail account. Apparently that's still a thing
