Likely, neither. Law schools generally just want to see that you've done some research on their course or clinical offerings and are able to conform your interest to them. It is also quite common for people to change their declared interests once in law school. It makes no difference.

I don't think at makes much of a difference at all unless it's part of an essay for a specific scholarship related to PI, etc.

I wrote my interests in my "why X" essays. I think it helped me show more easily that I was sincerely interested in the school, but don't think it helped me actually get in
