I will have a low cumulative GPA when I apply because in my first two years of college I had no idea what I wanted to do and lacked motivation because of that, and earned a terrible 2.7. So I took a huge leap and transferred to a school out west, and everything fell into place, realized I wanted to become a lawyer, just earned a 3.52 and 3.72 this past year and looking at a 4.0 this summer.

So my question is, is this worth mentioning in an addendum? Something along the lines of how I screwed up my first two years, didn't have passion for anything but I turned that all around. My first two years aren't representative of my potential as a student, my GPA after that and my LSAT scoreare better representations of that

Let's say hypothetically I get ~173 on the LSATs, how am I looking for T14 schools? Is Berkeley out of the question?

Gonna need that LSAT first in order to have any idea of prospects. As for an addendum, possibly a short one just explaining it. But short is key. You also do not want to draw too much attention to the fact that you were ever really phoning it in. So emphasize the "I found what I wanted" more.

Have you started studying for the LSAT yet? Getting around a 173 is very, very difficult
