is it ok for LSAT score to be ~4 years old

I took the LSAT about 4 years ago. I have a good score but it will be 4-4.5 years old at the time of my application. I know that a score is good for 5 years, but does the score being less "fresh" work against you in admissions?

No. As long as the score is still valid, you're fine.
