VA resident, k-JD
Want to obtain a federal clerkship, then Chicago or NY biglaw, then possibly in-house. Interested in working on the West Coast if ever possible. Uninterested in working in the South, even if the opportunity presents itself. Only ties are to D.C.
Financing law school entirely through loans.

UVA: $54k (18/yr)
Duke: $90k (30/yr)

I assume you provided this cost without accounting for your scholarships.

Based on my quick math, it looks like Duke will be $20K cheaper than UVA over three years.

Just pick which school you like better. Either way, the most likely outcome for you is NYC big law.
