not sure if this has been asked before, but what are you guys doing about health insurance (for those of us who are too old to be on parents' plan)? im gonna be out of state and a plane ride away from home. no major health issues or concerns... this is just in case i get run over or something. my school said that they will receive receipts that show how much i paid for health insurance during the academic year, but they didn't indicate if insurance is offered through the school.

Most schools have health plans you can get on.
That's what I'm doing.

This is usually the best choice, especially if you're moving to a new state.

Are they cheaper than ACA marketplace plans? Or just better because of things like easy access to student health centers?

I think the price difference is too individual-specific to really give an estimate of that, but the convenience is the biggest plus for me.
