Could I regain admission from a school I withdrew from already??

Quick background: I was admitted to Notre Dame Law School in the Spring of 2016. I accepted and deferred admission. In February of this year, I made the mistake of withdrawing my seat, as I didn't think I would want to attend law school this Fall. Also, I felt I owed it to the school to open my seat and scholarship funds up to someone more committed this cycle, and wanted to leave the relationship strong for if I ever did decide to reapply

Well fast forward to now, and I am KICKING myself for making that decision and not at least putting down another deposit. Does anyone think I would have any chance at all of being offered back admission if I wrote a compelling letter? Has anyone ever withdrew and reached back out to a school?

SHOOT, you think there is No chance the ship returns? If I brought up compelling enough reasoning, maybe they would be influenced to fill one of their future withdrawals with me?

No, but if you reapply in the fall, I'm sure you'll get substantially the same results as the offer you withdrew from.

I kind of wonder what a letter would have to say to be "compelling" on this issue, but yeah. That ship is gone for the year.

I withdrew because I wasn't sure I wanted to go to law school yet. Then nothing else panned out for me. I freaked out that I would have to wait another year to do something. I didn't think I could use my liberal arts degree in any other way. It was clear I made a big mistake by withdrawing. But I've seen the light now. You and I belong together. This is compelling enough for you to figure out a way to bring me in now. I won't second guess my decisions ever again. Can't wait to hear about my financial aid offer. Take care. Love.

It is possible. I am currently attending a law school that I withdrew from for the same reason. I changed my mind and asked nicely after both seat deposits. It went to the committee and they readmitted me and gave me the same scholarship I was originally offered. It can't hurt to ask.

It's time to put your groveling and praise masturbation skills to the test and email them telling them you want a seat in their class back and with your original scholly.

I mean, you literally have nothing to lose...so why not just write an email and see how it goes. I don't think it will happen, but at least just try to say you tried lol.

Also, lol at all the 'you're done, it's a wrap' comments in here from lawyers/future lawyers, whose job it is to negotiate. lmao damn. i hope you all don't roll over and die this fast when you're actually trying to negotiate a case.
