Got this email

4 Reasons You Still Haven’t Applied to New England Law

• “I dropped my iPhone in the toilet.”
• “My cat chewed my charger cord.”
• “I’ve been slammed with final exams and singlehandedly keeping Starbuck’s stock afloat.”
• “I’ve been binge-watching Netflix and haven’t slept in 26 days.”

We understand. You’re busy. But don’t worry. There’s still time to apply. We’ve extended your deadline until June 1, 2017.

What are you waiting for? APPLY HERE

Can't apply to New England Law if you're dead, and you shouldn't apply if you're alive

An extension's not going to help much, though. Unless it's through Judgment Day, and at that point I think being a lawyer is probably a net negative.

No they're going to need a lot of lawyers for that.

Wait are y'all implying there's something bad about New England Law? I know they extended the deadline, but that's not that big of a deal.

It's a horrible law school with abysmal employment stats and high cost. It makes zero sense to go there without a full ride and a dad mom or immediate family member that is partner at a local boston firm guaranteeing you a job.

Sry, just in the off chance this was a serious question. There was a time I would have asked the same thing seriously. Don't make that mistake.

Lower than a school continuing to take almost $50k a year in tuition money for a 40% chance at being employed as a lawyer? Lower than a school continually accepting people who they know probably won't even pass the bar, just so they can get some extra cash?

Don't get me wrong. You have to be an idiot of monumental proportions to attend this school in the first place, but the school administration has to be primarily composed of vampires and Trump University rejects.

Predatory institutions deserve to be ridiculed. It takes a certain type of gall to suggest otherwise.

I think it's only fair to point out that John O'Brien, NEL's dean, selflessly took a massive pay cut as his own contribution to various belt-tightening measures at the school.

O'Brien reduced his own total comp to $690K and $680K in FY14 and FY15, down from $873K in FY13.

I don't use the word "hero" very often but . . .

[Answering for him because I'm not sure how much he's on here.]
Yes that's him. He also had a blog called inside the law school scam.

For those who don't get it, his post about the Deans salary is dripping with sarcasm.
