Waitlisted: Paying deposit to other school?

I would like to wait until the last day, but the day to deposit to other schools come earlier.
If I submit the deposit for other schools, would it affect the decision??

No. It's normal for waitlisted people to deposit elsewhere.

By the way would updating any documents affect the decision in some bad way?

Not sure...
I would if it's pertinent as part of your LOCI (if you started a new job, for example).
I wouldn't annoy them with a lot of minor updates.
