should I send a why X if I haven't heard back?

I applied mid-Feb and most of my apps went complete late Feb. Should I send a why X if I haven't heard back from most of the schools I applied to?

Can't hurt, but you applied really late in the cycle. If you don't get in, your best course of action would be to reapply early next cycle (and possibly retake in the interim).

It depends. At this point, you are most likely getting WL-ed at your targets and reaches. And you are only getting into your safeties. So it is your call. You can save the effort for next cycle, or you can just try to increase your chances by a Why X. I have done the latter, but I have been waitlisted left and right despite the effort.
