Post by Pomeranian » Tue Mar 14, 2017 7:01 pm

Prof. Caron (ETA: now dean) of Pepperdine has posted and ranked the (infamous and controversial) "peer reputation" scores that went into calculating the most recent US News rankings. #GeorgeTTTown #T13

Things on my mind right now.

Wow Charelston went from almost shutting down to being tied for having the 11th worst reputation in the country.

Can't find our friends at Charlotte, where they'd go!

Did you guys hear Arizona Summit is partnering with a university in Florida?(and isn't moving).

Academic peer assessment means a bunch of deans and/or faculty rated each others' schools, right? Academic reputation is a function of publications and citations, which should have negligible impact on hiring IMO.
