Withdrawing from other schools?

Silly question, I'm sure, but what is the best way to withdraw my applications from the schools that I will not be attending? I was accepted to GULC via their Binding ED application, and would like to send in my intent form ASAP.
I'm assuming that the LSAC doesn't have a magic "withdraw" button that would make the process as simple as clicking a button. So, should I just email the admissions office for each school and inform them that I would like to respectfully withdraw my application?

Also, do I technically have to wait on a response back from every school stating that my application has been withdrawn before sending GULC my letter promising that I have withdrawn all of my other applications?

I sent in a form email to all of my acceptances' admissions offices immediately after enrolling at my school. I wouldn't wait for them to all acknowledge before you send your letter of intent to Georgetown- some places got back to me pretty quickly but a couple took more than a week.

Thanks, Applesauce! I went ahead and sent off a few withdrawal emails.

Quick question for everyone. Some of the schools have asked me which school I will be attending. Is that typical of a school to do? I didn't list this particular school under the "Which schools will you be applying to" section in their applications because I didn't know that I would be applying there until after sending in the application.

Once you have sent the email withdrawing, you can accurately represent to GULC that you withdrew your applications, so you're fine.

As for telling them where, you definitely don't have to, but I do.

Yes that's typical and you shouldn't think anything of it. Schools keep track of that stuff for their own purposes/information

Thanks a ton! I figured it was just for their records or compiling stats.

Yeah, you don't need to answer. One school was a little pushy and asked me twice, including asking the amount of the scholarship at the school I ended up going to, but it's none of their business if you don't feel like answering.

I went ahead and answered them. I figured they just wanted to know to determine which schools are letting students in with my numbers. You do have a point, though.
