NU ED - 3.0 GPA, 173 LSAT. - Canadian college messed up my gpa

Hey, NU is my dream school.
I'm 23
Will have 1.5 years W/E by time I attend NU
173 LSAT
3.0 GPA,
Good softs and was an RA for 2 years,
I'm Canadian and my college always aims for a class average of 68 and does not give + or - grades.
A = 80-9
B = 70-9
C = 60-69
My overall average is 77. All my grades final year are high 80s and a 90. Strong upward trend. It would be 3.7 GPA if my college didn't just do letter grades.
Basically I feel like I'm at a disadvantage. I'm very high in class rankings. I had a few grades at 69 or 67 and they count as a 2.0. Severely weighting down my GPA because of no + grades.
I'll be writing about this in my application but I was was wondering how receptive nu would be to my situation, especially since I'm Canadian? Should I not mention it and pray a 3.0 will be enough to get my foot In the door? Mylsn shows I'm sare with numbers but I'm still just curious about how to shape my application.
I'm doing ed (I know I won't get scholarship ) to show commitment.
Your thought will be greatly appreciated
Thank you
