I received some emails from schools and they said they waived the fees, but when I opened the application, the fees are still there...
How does it work? I'm confused...

I mean the school application fee is still there.
I'm not sure if I have to pay it when I get the email saying they waived the fee...or do I have to do something to remove the fee?

If the school has an option where you can choose to send a check for the app fee directly to the school then sometimes the school will tell you just to tell LSAC that you are sending a check to them and then not do anything and when the school gets your app they will see you have a fee waiver. I did that for Wisconsin.

Ahh...thanks guys.
I don't know, maybe I should call or email them..I'm interested in applying those schools if the fees are really waived, but if not...hummm.
Would it look weird if I ask them like "I got your email about fee waiver but the fee is not waived on the website...."

Did you jump into the Checkout page?
I used to be confused but it turned out the fee was waived after I clicked "Start Application" or what.
It was kinda embarrassing when I emailed one school about that then found that the fee WAS waived indeed. lol .

It's on the checkout page. If you just preview the application, it shows the amount. Once at checkout it will show that it's waived.

Ahh

Thank you guys!
I actually emailed one school before I get the replies, but they gave me a code...
seems sometimes you have to get these code to enter to get the fee waived.
