Picking classes for final semester, 3.73 GPA 176 LSAT Engineering at Ivy

Hi guys,

Interested in your take on picking classes for my final semester at a well known Ivy (but not one with a law school). My goal is one of HYS and I'm an engineering major. There are a couple of really interesting courses I want to take that I know will bring my GPA down.

How important is it for me to boost my GPA given I have a 176 on the lsat? Should I take cupcake classes or should I take this final chance to take some interesting classes that will probably depress or keep my GPA at the same level.

Thanks

I would suggest trying to boost your GPA. If you want Yale or Stanford, that GPA doesn't make you a lock.

Meh, probably won't matter much either way. H would probably love to have you as is, and I doubt YS will change their minds from 3.73-3.8. Either way, enjoy a great outcome.

ETA: If you're going for IP law, you especially don't have to worry. You've already won employment for 1L summer, no matter where you end up.

Take the interesting course.
But why law school? You have good grades from an Ivy.
