3.20 GPA, 157 LSAT, 4 years interning at a law office, 6 months internship at the Capitol. GWU is my #1, but I know that the chances of getting in are around 0-10%. I have had my mind so focused on GWU, that I have not considered any other schools. Any recommendations of where I should apply?

Retake, or American if you can afford it. FWIW according to Mylsn you should get decent money (100k) at a place like Penn State

No one should pay money to go to American. What are your career goals, and where do you want to work?

My grandfather is a criminal defense attorney, so I have always considered that, but I am mostly interested in international business law right now. Politics is an interest of mine as well, so that's one of the reasons I would like to go to school in D.C, too.

Only a criminal defense position would be a realistic from any school you have the numbers for. Assuming you're talking about high-level international business law, GW will not give you great placement for the firms or in-house spots at companies conducting that kind of business. I have no idea how GW became your top choice, but you need to shoot for Georgetown if you're going to insist on going to school in DC. But speaking of your reasons for that...
Just in case you haven't heard it before: do not go to law school for a political career. If that's your real goal, then get an MPP or just get a job now.

GW is where my grandfather went. It's really the only reason I've been thinking about attending there. What about transferring into GT from a smaller school?

It's possible, but you should never plan on transferring. Don't matriculate to a school you don't want to graduate from.

Yeah, I'm probably just going to take the year off and work so that I have time to get my LSAT score up to 165+.

I second that this is a good call. Your options change a lot with a 165.
