Hi,

I will have been out of college for 3 years when I apply in the upcoming cycle. Originally planned to apply this cycle but something unforeseeable occurred. GPA 3.93/LSAT 173. Will I be considered the old guy in school, or will I fit in socially? FWIW aiming for HYS or lower T14 on scholly.

Dude, we have a whole thread filled with people starting law school over age 30. You won't be too old. Only issue is that asking that question means you may still be kind of young.

Decent chance of not fitting in socially, but not for the reasons you are worried about, surprisingly enough.

Also attending one of HYS (especially H) means you probably won't fit in socially with society, even if you fit in at school. So that's always a consideration.

But real answer: don't worry about it, you would be right in the average age range

I was one of the oldest people in my section and my reasons for not fitting in had everything to do with my personality, not my age.

What a dumb question coming from someone who appears to be relatively intelligent.

It will be fine; just make sure you switch to odor-free Bengay so the young whippersnappers don't make fun of your old-person-smell.
