Was Googling around trying to find an answer to this and found this post from 2013:

Supposedly from the LSAC website. I'm going through FAQs to see if this is still posted somewhere but it seems to be good news for us! As far as I can tell, schools will only know we took it again when they get an updated score in February/March.

Yeah, same. Just decided to retake it for sure. I mean, I think they would be more concerned about updates along the lines of an arrest, disciplinary issue at school, academic probation, etc. There could be all sorts of things that could be an update to an application - job change, slight GPA change, etc. that have no real bearing on their decision. I'm torn as well, I forgot about that language in there.
