How does LSAC calculate UGPA?

My undergrad school is sending the transcript to LSAC, and I am wondering how LSAC would calculate the UGPA? I attended a Canadian university using percentage instead of GPA. Will LSAC use every grade on my transcript to calcualte the UGPA? What about the failed course? I understand the failed course which has a grade shown on the transcript will be counted toward the UGPA, but will there be additional penalty? And what about the withdraw courses?
