Top Law Schools

Sorry if this is the wrong section - I thought maybe FAQ also, but ended up here after reading the topic posted about math/Biglaw.

Lots of options locked behind a JD from a T14 look very appealing to me. I have a bachelors and masters in engineering. I'm trying to figure out which schools are the best fit for someone with my background (be that because there are similar people with my background, or they have programs that would make me a more attractive applicant).

My thoughts are as follows:
I don't particularly want to go to school in CA (I like the east coast), so probably S/Boalt are not ideal.
Harvard is the dream, simply because I love the city of Boston, and academia (teaching law/engineering courses to undergrads at a southern university is the looooooong term goal) seems possible from there.
UVA I like because it reminds me of my undergrad in culture/environment/college town feel (and it places well in DC)
NYU seems to have a really cool scholarship program for those with a focus on cybersecurity (ASPIRE). It would make sense for me on that level since that was my graduate focus.
Technically, I think Duke would also make sense due to their strong engineering undergraduate presence, but I'm not sure NC is where I want to be at.

Am I missing any other blatantly obvious options?

The connection between a school and an engineering focus isn't particularly relevant. I'm at UVA and it has a strong IP minority group of students and the placement at UVA seems perfectly in keeping with the rest of the T14 and it's ability to place in IP work.

Feel grateful you have a desirable background for when hiring comes around, but there won't be one school that distances from the pack in the T14 when it comes to placement in IP. Anecdotal, but IP firms seem to care as much about your engineering background as your law school performance.
