Do almost every law schools except T6 ask for Why X essays?

My understanding is that Michigan, Berkeley, Cornell, Penn, and Georgetown asks for Why X essays.
Are there any other schools?

Few schools explicitly ask for one, but almost all will accept some kind of Why X essay as an optional addendum. IIRC, Cornell is the only T14 who actually requires you write one in the app. If you really want to go to the school (or are afraid of yield protection) then it's a good idea to write one.
