168/9 in December LSAT vs 172 in Feb LSAT

For T14 schools, would someone with 170-172 in Feb LSAT has advantage over someone with 168/9 and completed the apps in December?
Assuming both have 3.8 GPA.
Everyone says Feb LSAT is too late and does that also apply to those with 170+ LSAT score?

170-172 will generally have the advantage. There is a big difference between a 168 and a 170-172 in terms of desirability to schools. Almost all schools will take the Feb LSAT, (sometimes even if their websites say otherwise). Don't shortchange yourself.
