Top Law Schools

I'm noticing that many, not all, applications have a section called "Law School Interest," and the question at the very bottom asks you about where you have or plan to apply. Is there any strategy to this question? As in, is it a better strategy to apply to higher-ranked schools before applying to lower-ranked schools.....or is the reverse a better strategy? Obviously, I will be completely honest about where I've already applied to at that particular point in time. Thanks
