research proposal (visiting scholar)

Post by annabellejuliette » Fri Nov 04, 2016 6:15 am

Hey everyone,

I'm going to apply as a visiting scholar at several law schools in the USA. Currently, I'm wirting my dissertation in Germany and I plan on doing some research in comparative law (comparing securities regulation in Germany and the United States). At the moment, I'm trying to complete my one page research proposal. Does anybody know, if I have to include recent literature or even a bibliography, a timescale and a table of contents? This seems odd to me, since it's only an one page research proposal...

Thank you in advance!

Consult with the individual law schools, but usually page limits are exclusive of bibliographies. I don't think a timeline or TOC is necessary.
