Question: I got their 75th grant amount before my lsat increase of 6 points. It seems crude to be like - hey, did you catch my new score? I assume they didnt, because why would they continue to review my file after they rendered a decision. I'd love to interview for the Dean's. I don't know what to do!

Yeah, they're basically giving you a "Total fee waiver" so that you don't have to worry about paying the $30 lsac fee. Literally nothing to lose by applying except time.MindBodyAbs wrote:$30Mikey wrote:how much money is in the amazon gift card that bama gives

I'm not going to argue about whether it's better or not for a big law or bust person to accept a fullride from a non-t14 school, but it's more than possible to make it happen (pretty sure a third of WashU's class gets big law).guybourdin wrote:If you're BL or bust that seems reasonable to me? Haha no worries; just the nature of TLS. I've gotten into some major unwanted e-fights on these boards for simply disagreeing, so I was covering preemptively my ground.guybourdin wrote:Oh yeah, I wasn't trying to start an argument - I don't have any stake in it! Re: Worst Law School You'd Go To For Free Tuition
it's a different question for people who have already gone through the admissions process. I could pretend like I'm answering totally blind I guess but I still will have the same stats. I prob would consider berkeley and northwestern; I wouldn't live in the other t-14 law school locations, even if you paid me like 80k a yearThomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:lols at the person that said "CCN"

Re: Worst Law School You'd Go To For Free Tuition
If your answer is your answer for you and you alone based on your preferences and circumstances I don't see how anyone can challenge that; everyone has to make their own choices. If the answer is meant as "what's the worst law school anyone *should* go to for free" then that's different. I think the issue is sort of that the OP asks for the former but this being TLS, it's easy to read it as the latter.

I think people are missing the point of this thread. You have to assume a veil of ignorance, and pretend you don't know your GPA or LSAT. In THAT case, where would you go for free tuition, v. not attending at all.
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Cooley or Indiana tech! Heard they both have excellent bar passage and fed clerkship/biglaw placement rates.

Re: Worst Law School You'd Go To For Free Tuition
Well, if you have a 4.0/180, then the lowest you'd go SHOULD be CCN, or you should reapply because you had a bad cycle. So, it seems like this question is more fun/interesting in a vacuum.A.
