should I write a separate essay to explain my score?

Hi all, my first take was in Oct 2013 and got a 159. I took again this Sept and got 166. I plan to apply with the new score. Though I heard that every school's policy now is to look at the top score only, I wonder if I would be in a better position to explain the first score given they are all on my file? Anybody with a similar experience and would like to share your thoughts? Very much appreciated!

Can we just sticky a thread entitled "No, you don't need an LSAT score addendum"?

I agree that no addendum is needed, but if you do opt for one it should be in the form of a sonnet.
