Does it have to be a BS or MA? What about Math BA? And does it really matter, especially when one has a below-median GPA?

For law school to have special consideration for a below-median GPA?rinkrat19 wrote:Does it have to be a BS or MA for what?
For admission to law school? Won't matter enough to make up for a low GPA either way. School rankings depend on the median GPA of admitted students, and there's no special exception given for GPAs in STEM subjects.yzhu72 wrote:For law school to have special consideration for a below-median GPA?rinkrat19 wrote:Does it have to be a BS or MA for what?

Certain majors will qualify you to take the patent bar and/or make you more attractive to IP employers, but that depends on more than just whether someone's degree is a BS or BA (although a BS, generally speaking, is probably more likely to qualify).
