Hoping to start in 2019

Hi there!
I am hoping to begin a law school program in 2019. Do you think that taking my first LSAT exam June 2017 is ok? Should I take one before this? I haven't started studying yet but plan to starting in November.
I appreciate the feedback!

That's too late. General advice is to take the exam at least 4 years before going to law school because of the negative performance after effects on LS exams of the LSAT.

^ His name says it all. This is not serious advice,
June could work, but there is no hurry if you are looking at a 2019 start. Start prepping, and once you are PTing around your goal score, sit for the exam. You have lots of time.

From what I have read, most schools will consider LSAT scores that are up to five years old.
Also, I am also shooting to start school in 2019. My plan is the February 2017 test with additional possibilities of taking the any combination of the remaining from 2017 and up to as late as the June 2018 test.
In general, the consensus seems to be to sit for the test after you are consistently PT'ing at your target range. E.g. in my case, I know that for all, but my reach school, my target is 160-164. My target for my reach school is 172.
