Gap Year: Double Major or Internship/Co-Op?

Long story short, I decided to pursue law school late and will need to take a gap year in between graduating and attending law school. My question is, what would look better in terms of law school admission: doing an internship/co-op for a year in the legal field or continuing my undergraduate studies to get a double major?
My current major is psychology and the second major would be political science. My GPA currently stands at 3.9.

double major won't do anything tbh. the internship would suit you better because it's experience, and since it's in the legal field, you can see if you actually like it by working with lawyers/judge or whatever you plan on doing, before pursuing law school.
your 3.9 is great, and a double major will AT BEST probably just be considered a soft factor.

Get work experience and study for the LSAT to get a high score. Don't jeopardize the high GPA getting a second major that won't do much for you.
