If someone was accepted to a t14, and then decided to do another year of UG, would they be able to defer? Or, since they won't have technically graduated, will they have to reapply?

This hypothetical problem wouldn't happen because one cannot be accepted to law school without submitting proof of completion of an undergraduate degree.

This should say "cannot matriculate."

But what if you're applying as a senior in UG?

The admission is contingent on graduating from UG.

But actually, now I understand what your question is. I don't know whether they would allow you to defer.

I don't think they would allow this. I am currently deferred to UVA and one of the deferral checklist items was sending in a final transcript showing my degree was conferred.

Gotcha. I've decided to graduate this year, so it's a moot point. Thanks so much for your advice!
