Top Law Schools

Hey guys,

This may sounds totally clueless, but how/when do schools notify you of the SSS they're willing to offer? I've received a few acceptances, but nothing financial has been mentioned. Does it typically occur later in the cycle?

Depends on the school. A few send scholarship info with your acceptance, but the majority do not hand anything out until February-April.

Edit: You can get an idea if you check out the threads from the school's last cycle.

This is the best thing to do. Every school is different.

The only consistency is that everyone should inform you of financial aid decisions by mid-March, assuming you submitted everything to them on time.
