Disclaimer: not an expert, but if I were you....
I'd say apply with your current numbers and see where the chips fall. If you don't like your options, do a retake. I think you're pretty much a lock for the Northwestern 150k ED.

Those numbers are too good for a NU ED. OP would get more money applying regular decision. You should blanket the T13 (Georgetown is pretty stingy and you will get a full ride from a better school).

Didn't say he necessarily should do NU ED, just that he was a lock for it

IMO, apply as early as possible in general. I think having everything done by the end of Sept really helped my application (got full scholarships to UVA and Northwestern with a measly 168), but remember that in most cases you wont find out about the named scholarship until December at the earliest.

Did you have anything else going for you (URM, etc.)? An early app usually doesn't result in unnaturally large merit scholarships.
Not that applying early doesn't help, but applying in September vs. just before Thanksgiving shouldn't really turn a median LSAT/>75th GPA into a full scholarship.

Not URM. Just a lucky 2014 applicant that applied during the rock-bottom years. I agree that a 168 is unlikely to replicate the results, but I do think applying early helped especially with reach schools and that the earlier you can get your materials in, the better (which is the general TLS refrain).

My understanding of TLS/Spivey wisdom is that it hardly matters before Halloween (and really more like Thanksgiving) how early you submit, and if people recommend to submit earlier than then it's only because why not. I remember Spivey in particular saying he thinks the advantages of submitting early (like, before Christmas or so) are kind of overblown.
That's not to say it's a bad idea, but I don't think anybody should be rushing to get things in this month.

I think it's gonna come down to Harvard sticker (idk about your financial need situation) and good money at CCN. I personally wouldn't be aiming for a full ride at a lower T-14 with your numbers but I'm less debt-averse than you are. I think Y and S are unlikely so your decision's really gonna be based on whether you're debt-averse enough to say no to Harvard
