Does anyone know if law schools keep your old application on file if you apply multiple times? Specifically, would they compare the two?

You should at least update your PS.

they'll know you applied and whether you were accepted or rejected. and I think they will have your LORs, PS, etc. from previous apps as long as they were within ~3 years (i think it's 3, this might depend on school)
