Top Law Schools

I go to a college that doesn't have gen-ed requirements and am free to take any course I want as long as I fulfill concentration requirements. I'm a history concentrator and tend to only take classes in the humanities and social sciences bc I am stronger in these subjects and can get better grades in these classes. Is it necessary to have a well-rounded courseload throughout college (ie including courses in sciences, mathematics) to get into law school or am I good with taking courses in the hum/socialsci departments? Any suggestions are much appreciated thanks.

No. No one will care. You should take a really easy class that you'll get an A in. Or, if you haven't taken the LSAT yet, formal logic might help a tiny bit...but I'd still take an easy class.

The best classes for law school are the classes you know you will do well in. A high GPA is what really matters. Not the classes you take.

I guess since you don't know what classes you'll do well in ahead of time (you may have an inkling), philosophy and economics would help but not taking it won't hurt.

You should also try to see if there's a major that you're interested and can have a career in that doesn't involve law school.

Take whatever you want, it really doesn't matter.

Take what you like and will net you As if you know you're going to law school. Better to be a history major like I was with a 3.9 then a physics major with a 3.5--at least in regards to admissions.
