Multiple Waitlist Question

Does anyone know if the law schools are sent a report of the waitlists that we are still on? I've deposited at UVA after getting in recently, but I wouldn't want to give up a chance at Harvard. Are they able to threaten you with withdrawal?

In my experience with submitting my deposit at a law school, they had me sign a promise statement that I would be attending. In the event that I chose elsewhere, my deposit would be forfeited. There is no list, unsure what you are talking about but no way for a school to know which schools you've applied to unless you told that particular school. If the deposit was for early acceptance, different case. There are usually clauses in an early acceptance contract that states the accepted student will, without a doubt attend, and will not/have not applied to other schools since being accepted at the particular school. This is different and if you decide to go elsewhere, they could potentially file claim because they invested time and contract was broken.
