Top Law Schools

Long story short I did my undergrad in finance with a masters in accounting, got a job with a firm and hated it and have since worked in the legal field (criminal law to be exact) completely unrelated to finance and accounting. I want to go to law school for criminal law, administrative law, maybe some human rights type work. I have passed one part of the CPA, is it worth finishing it? I mean I don't intend on ever using it but would stuff like that matter in my admissions criteria (soft factors if you will).

not worth the trouble imo. But if down the road you decide you want to do tax law then it could be worth it.

I would say it is only beneficial to you if you decide to practice law in something that relates to accounting i.e. bankruptcy law. It will make you more marketable.However, at the same time, after completing undergrad and a Macc you are almost done and could get the certification rather quickly. Seems like a waste to me if you didnt finish that last step when you are right there (I understand the time investment and difficulty associated with it as I am going through the process now).
