Waitlisted but Senior GPA dropped?

Post by mystline » Mon May 16, 2016 1:37 pm

Hey guys, I was recently wait-listed for a school, but my senior spring GPA dropped, making me place at the school's median as opposed to the 75th percentile. In the wait-list email, the school said that if applicable, I should submit an updated transcript to the LSAC. Should I be sending this updated transcript right away? Or do I just wait until they personally ask me to submit the updated transcript? I feel that it was my higher GPA that held up my application, but now that it dropped...

I take it you have a low LSAT score since your (formerly) high GPA is what got you on the waitlist. You should retake.

I wouldn't proactively update them on a pretty significant drop, but I doubt it will matter.

Yes, my LSAT is definitely on the lower side. Thanks for the advice!
