Why pursue a legal career?

Since there is so much negativity being spread about the job prospects for future lawyers, I'm wondering why you guys are still pursuing a legal career through law school?

In other words, what makes you want to become an attorney?

Honestly, I think the best way to begin answering this is for you to list all of the reasons you wouldn't want to be a lawyer.

I should have been less ambiguous - tend to have less external bleeding. Which means you might be dead on the inside, but you still look damn good on the outside, and that's what's really important.
