It seems that a lot of schools are now doing YP for people with high numbers. What are some ways to show a law school that your extremely interested in going besides writing Why X?

The Why x is going to be very/most important to schools that care about that. Really put in the effort on that, it's pretty obvious when you're not being sincere in those.
You can write a school specific PS for places without a why x, or have school-specific recs.
You can tour school or meet with the admissions office before or after applying. Do research on the specific school though, because often they do not actually keep or consider those records in admissions.

The nuclear option is to apply ED and only apply to that school. Tell them you would definitely attend if admitted. But in these circumstances you are potentially giving up scholarship money.

Legally change your name to that of the school.

Some ideas:

1. Write all of the optional essays, including the diversity essay even if you're not a conventional "diverse" applicant

2. Apply ED

3. Have your recommenders write a tailored LOR mentioning why you're interested in attending school X

4. Go to law school fairs, talk to school X's reps, and mention that somewhere in your application (e.g. in your why X essay)

5. If you get waitlisted, write a LOCI that explains precisely why you're interested in attending

6. Tell them in your essays/LOCI that you would attend if offered a spot (only say this if it's true)

I did all of these things to express extreme interest and ended up getting admitted to a school I had a small chance of getting into.

I definitely sense schools are getting hipper to the tried and true YP-avoidance tactics that worked so well in the past. I think the big hammer you have is actually visiting if you live some distance away. If you live in Albuquerque and you fly across the country to tour Penn and meet with admissions folks, I'd say that's a pretty strong sign of your interest.

These are solid ideas. Furthermore, you should consider making a video of yourself masturbating to the school's website. Or even better, visit the school and record yourself masturbating in front of the biggest sign with their name they have on the school grounds.
