Which schools reach out to LORs after submitting?

One of my letter writers recently received an email from GULC thanking them for submitting an LOR on my behalf. Do any other schools reach out to recommenders directly after submitting an application or throughout the process? Additionally, are recommenders notified through LSAC at any point that I've submitted an application to X school?

To my knowledge, GULC was the only school I applied to that emailed my LOR writers thanking them for aiding the process.

UVA has been known to reach out to LOR's in certain fields.

A few people on the UVA thread have stated that they work for a member of congress who wrote a LOR for them and received a nice thank you note.
