tuition ≠ expenditures per student
It indirectly contributes to it in a major way, where schools are raising tuition every year.

doesn't always work like that, but it can. my point wasn't that brooklyn hasn't lowered eps, but that the relationship between those two factors isn't particularly tight until you've evaluated how many scholarships they give out and in what amounts, how many they revoke, sources of revenue other than tuition, etc
(yes, unswr weights financial aid within expenditures per student, so it seems that should guard against tricks like lowering tuition but cutting financial aid, but it's given minuscule weight. and it's all a black box anyways. and that still doesn't get at the 'other sources of revenue' issue. e.g. pritzker)
All good points. I've read this thread and am doing some digging on BLS now.

Stanny tied for #2 again this year, he put them at #3. Incorrect guesses within the T14 are worth double the point deduction. So, ((-1)•2)=-2
