Top Law Schools

I have been waiting for two months now.

I have been accepted to one of my target schools, but have been rejected from 3 reach schools.

I still have 8 schools left

Alabama - Reach
Campbell - Target
Louisville - Target
LSU - Reach
Memphis - Target
Mississppi - Target
Richmond - Reach
South Carolina - Target

Is it good news that Alabama and Richmond have been in review with date changes for over a month? What are your thoughts? I am going insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why are they toying with me?

OP, honey, you should seriously consider retaking, as well as the options that these schools can offer (read: minimal).

Retake would push me back a year. What do you mean the options are minimal?

But it would open up your options for school and career. Looks at lstscorereports for each of the schools you have applied to. The favorable career outcomes are minimal. Especially with the debt i'm assuming you would incur going to any of these schools.

And going to law school now with those schools being targets and reaches could push you back the rest of your life. It's just not worth the risk. The 1% out of those schools will make it big, the rest will have be on a grind much worse than studying for a retake

Ignoring for a moment that none of those schools will be worth attending, I submitted all of my apps in early September and have yet to hear anything from 5/19 schools I applied to.

Your 2 month wait is hardly unique or lengthy.

Holy cow do not even put this school into your field of vision...I graduated in 2013, cum laude. Volunteered, worked my but off networked, networked and networked. I am now a public school teacher who has to drive an hour away just to have that job.

Look at the numbers my friend. Look at the quality of their incoming class compared to 5 years ago. This school is a failure factory. I see more of my former classmates wearing polo's with name tags than I do wearing suits and ties....

Just my 2 cents.

You've already been accepted to one of your targeted schools. Go to that one and stop worrying too much.
