Who's Outperformed Their Numbers?

Just wondering who out there happened to get into a reach school that their numbers would typically predict they wouldn't? I love a good success story as I wait for my cycle to unfold.

I couldn't find anything initially, which is why I made this. Someone please share the link if you find it!

for what it's worth, I performed exactly how my numbers said I would during my cycle, and am pretty much exactly where my LSAT would indicate I would perform so far 1L
Obey

WOW. I don't mind telling you that you are probably the best law school applicant ever...just, wow.

But you didn't outperform your numbers. Also you said "good but not great softs" on your lsn profile but you're a fucking olympian and a rhodes scholar. What do you think a "great" soft is, curing cancer? Congrats either way, it's very impressive and I'd say you certainly outperformed in scholarship money but the odds were in your favor for every school you got into according to your numbers. I was looking for people who maybe had LSAT/GPA both below median or were like a 50%/25% splitter or something similar.

read his LSN profile more closely
Olympian>Rhodes Scholar>Fulbright>Me>TFA>President of law fraternity
Holy shit my bad, I was reading this really late last night. Nevermind, apologies for sounding like a jerk also.

I'm actually legitimately curious if people think I outperformed my numbers!
I have a 169/3.3, and I've already been accepted into Michigan & Northwestern, plus I've interviewed with Gtown & UVA. Also, WUSTL gave me 45k and GW gave me 25k, though I'm aware WUSTL threw a ton of money at anyone above a 168.
Some mitigating factors are that I have a pretty solid resume/softs (internships w/ Nancy Pelosi &
Center for American Progress and a pretty clear desire to do public interest.) So let me know what you think.

I did outperform my numbers but I also had one of those first two softs in the above list/chain.

Ha, you're not the only one. I was thinking the same thing at first.
As for whether or not floridacoastal outperformed their numbers I'm not so sure, maybe in regards to scholarship money awarded?

Thought this was interesting, so I tested. I fixed your LSAT and gave 3.0-3.5 range for your GPA:
Looks to me like you are performing about where you should expect given your numbers. Maybe you have an ever so slight overperform on your WUSTL and GW scholarships, but its very slight.

I like to think I have, but there's still more to go this cycle - money will especially be a challenge.
It must be noted that it's quite difficult to find other applicants with my numbers, so it's hard to read.

3.3/172 KJD. In at Michigan so far. Surprised to see a T14 acceptance at all honestly, I figured I sunk my T14 hopes with my crap GPA. But I guess LSAT can be a big game-changer!

I agree, that's just being a splitter not really outperforming.
But that does raise the question of what exactly would be considered outperforming, below median with both numbers? below 25th?

Non-urm getting in with both numbers below median would be outperforming. Or with one number below a school's traditional floor.
