172/Will retake in February. Do I need to ask CCN to proceed with my current application?

Hi all! Thanks in advance for you advice.
I scored 172 in December but register to retake in February. Since I made several bubbling mistakes in December and given my PT average (177+), I think I can resonably expect a 175+ in February. I aim for T6 and have submitted all the apps. I know 172 is not enough to get me into YHS and will probably ask them to hold my profile.
Now my question is: is it wise to ask CCN to proceed with my current number, or hold until the Feb score is released? A tradeoff between a "not-that-high" score and a better score but late application. Or in other words, is 172 a safe point to CCN? Look forward for your opinions.
BTW I am an international so I don't have an undergrad GPA. What I have is a Superior in the evaluation for my foreign transcript for a top school in my country. I do have a graduate GPA around 4.2 at Cornell. Average softs but strong LORs. Probably unable to sit for the next cycle. Thanks again.
